What is WasteID?

WasteID is an extremely cost-effective solution for trade waste management, tankered liquid waste tracking, and overseeing compliance across the water and waste water sector.

For authorities, councils and utilities, WasteID is a powerful tool to enable resources to focus on managing risks in a more efficient and effective way, with real-time data and alerts via a user-friendly interface. Device information and service frequency is easily configured and maintained within WasteID. Readily search, sort, view and download data to support compliance and billing.

For Service Agents (Liquid Waste collectors), the servicing of Devices, collection, transport and offload of waste is streamlined through scanning QR2id Tags.

The WasteID platform also supports its 'sister applications', BackFlowID (Backflow Prevention compliance), DumpPointID (Caravan Dump Point access control), StandPipeID (Standpipe issue, return and readings), and other compliance activities such as Thermostatic Mixing Valves and Gas Appliances.

WasteID can be integrated with external systems through a standard API, or used stand-alone.

2 Tier Subscription Model

WasteID has a simple two-tier fee structure, with Tier 1 suiting Authorities with less than 1,300 pre-treatment devices, and Tier 2 making WasteID cost-effective for even the largest of Authorities. Tier 1 has a very low Core Subscription fee, with a cost-effective Data and Support fee per active trade waste device. The Tier 2 Core Subscription fee is higher, with a lower fee per active trade waste device.

SIMPLE ACCESS

WasteID can be conveniently accessed from the office via a modern web-browser, or in the field via the QR2id App on a smart phone or tablet. (Apple or Android).

GLOBALLY UNIQUE IDENTIFIERS

Users in the field are able to scan QR2id Tags and Stickers to quickly and conveniently access information about devices and workflows applicable to their roles.

REALTIME INSIGHTS

Authorised users can review device status, and service and waste collection/offload information at a glance, in real time.

Devices can be configured to send email or SMS notifications when they are serviced.

REPORTING

Depending on the User's roles and privileges, a variety of reports can be generated to suit operational needs. e.g. Overdue, or recently serviced pre-treatment devices, waste consignments (collected/delivered), and waste offloads/received.

AUTOMATION & SCHEDULES

The service frequency for each pre-treatment device can be configured according to the trade waste approval, with automated overdue notifications able to be sent via email.

Where trade waste is seasonal (e.g. school holidays) the service frequency can be set to automatically change.

LOCATION VERIFICATION

WasteID provides more than just reporting. When a user scans a QR2id Code or submits a form related to servicing a device / collecting waste, the GPS location on the user's phone and the tagged location of the device are compared to verify that the user is in the vicinity of the device at the time of service.

WASTE BILLING

WasteID can be used by Waste Receival facilities to compile charges for waste transporters and third-parties who need to be invoiced.

Data from flow meters and weigh-bridges can be integrated with offload records.

DATA EXCHANGE

The standard WasteID API can be used to enable data exchange between WasteID and authorised external applications. Alternatively, customised integrations can be deployed where needed.

ONE LOGIN MULTIPLE USES

Authorised Users are able to access a multitude of functions, based on their assigned roles. Trade Waste Officers who also manage Backflow Prevention can easily manage compliance from their WasteID account.

DEVICE INFORMATION

WasteID provides detailed insights for devices, based on category and device type. The GPS location of the device can be set when applying the QR2id Tag, and photos uploaded to assist authorised users.

Devices can be related to one or more locations (e.g. common grease arrestor).

LOCATION INFORMATION

Subject to their assigned roles in WasteID, authorised users can view details of all devices associated with a location. Locations can be configured in parent/child relationships, enabling convenient oversight across complex facilities such as shopping centres, hospitals and campuses.
